The International Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hamidullah Anatolian Imam Hatip High School was established in the vibrant Batıkent Turgut Özal District in Ankara. It welcomed its first students in the 2017-2018 academic year, and that same year, it embraced the prestigious “international” concept by recruiting talented students from the Caucasus.
In the 2018-2019 academic year, the General Directorate of Religious Education under the Ministry of National Education designated the school as a distinguished Science and Social Sciences Project School. Furthermore, the School Practice Mosque opened in 2019, followed by the launch of the state-of-the-art school hostel building in the 2019-2020 academic year.
Every year, local students from Turkey, selected based on their LGS scores, and international students from over fifty countries, chosen through oral and written exams, join the school. This process, conducted in close cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and the Diyanet Foundation, ensures a diverse and enriching educational experience for all students. Together, they become integral members of the International Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hamidullah Anatolian Imam Hatip High School community.
